Altek has begun construction of a 24 MW Solar Power Plant (SPP) in Şanlıurfa's Siverek district, marking a significant step in its renewable energy investments.

This solar power plant is being constructed to meet the electricity needs of Altek Döküm. The project is being implemented on Altek’s 313,000 m² site and will generate electricity using solar panels.

A total of 50,500 solar panels will be installed during the plant’s construction, with the capacity to produce up to 27.7 MWp of electricity. While the projected operational lifespan of the plant is 30 years, this may be extended through necessary upgrades aligned with evolving technologies and updated regulations.

This initiative marks a significant step forward in Altek’s efforts to increase the use of sustainable energy and reduce energy costs.
