Our General Manager, Nilay Denizli, has assumed an important role following her election as a member of the Audit Committee of the Istanbul Iron and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters' Association (İDDMİB).

The newly formed management under the leadership of İDDMİB’s new President, Tahsin Öztiryaki, consists of experienced professionals, with a particular emphasis on supporting women and youth. Mr. Öztiryaki highlighted the importance of empowering young talents and stated that they will work towards increasing female employment within the sector.

Having achieved $7 billion in exports in 2017, the association set an ambitious target of $8 billion for 2018 and emphasized their commitment to working diligently to reach this goal. Mr. Öztiryaki expressed hope that through collective effort, the association will successfully meet these targets.

These developments are highly significant for the future of the sector, and the innovative approach of the management team holds great potential to enhance the dynamism of the industry.
