The 2024 IWCC Meeting took place in Washington, D.C., from May 12 to 14.

The 2024 IWCC Meeting took place in Washington D.C. between May 12-14. It was a highly productive event that brought together copper industry stakeholders, from mining companies to semi-finished product manufacturers, where key trends and issues affecting the sector were discussed. This year, our General Manager Nilay Denizli attended the event representing our company.
Over the three-day event, valuable presentations were delivered, providing participants with comprehensive updates on recent developments in the mining sector, commodity exchanges, critical minerals, Japan's overseas investments, the role of financial investors, and the social impact of the industry.
The keynote speaker, Pulitzer Prize winner Jon Meacham, gave a speech about the political climate in the U.S. and the outlook for the upcoming election year, which was attended by our General Manager Nilay Denizli. These and other panels provided participants with an excellent opportunity to ask questions and listen to discussions on topics related to the copper industry.
Our General Manager Nilay Denizli also participated in the morning run organized for IWCC delegates, who gathered at the Lincoln Memorial for a jog along the Washington Monument. This served as a beneficial event for participants to meet and reconnect with other IWCC members.
