ALTEK MILESTONES

• 1971

  • Altek was founded in Haznedar by Fehmi Denizli.
  • The company began operations by producing brass sheets at its first Haznedar facility.

• 1988

  • In 1988, our facility in the Beylikdüzü Industrial Zone began operating.

• 1994

  • In 1994 Altek doubled its indoor space and introduced brass strip production.

• 1998

  • In 1998, with the investment in the foundry, Altek's production capacity increased to 18,000 tons annually.

• 2000

  • In 2000, Altek achieved its first export and now exports 50% of its total production to 80 countries worldwide.

• 2000

  • Also in 2000, Altek began producing coin blanks and became a supplier to the Turkish State Mint.

• 2002

  • In 2002, Altek entered the defense industry by producing case cups.

• 2007

  • In 2007, Altek exported its first coin blanks.

• 2008

  • Since 2008, Altek has been consistently ranked among the Top 1000 Exporters by the Turkish Exporters Assembly.
  • As of 2008, we have represented Turkey in the IWCC (International Wrought Copper Council).

• 2009

  • In 2009, Altek shifted its focus to copper alloy flat products, phased out brass profile production, and invested in a second plant for the production of flat products.

• 2010

  • 2010 yılında Çerkezköy Organize Sanayi Bölgesinde yeni ve modern fabrikamız faaliyetlerine başladı.
  • 2010 yılından beri her sene ISO İLK 500 Sanayi Kuruluşu listesinde yer alıyoruz.

• 2012

  • In 2012, we exported the first case cups.

• 2015

  • In 2015, with the completion of the first phase of investments at our Çerkezköy facility, our production capacity increased to 36,000 tons annually.

• 2017

  • In 2017, with a new foundry investment at our Çerkezköy facility, Altek expanded its product range diversity and increased its production capacity to 50,000 tons annually.

• 2018

  • In 2018, in response to growing global demand, the production capacity for coin blanks and case cups was doubled.

• 2020

  • In 2020, with an investment in a rolling line, the second phase of investments at our Çerkezköy facility was completed.

• 2023

  • In 2023, with the aim of further expanding our production capacity, we decided to invest in a third flat product facility, and the foundation of our third plant was laid in the Velimeşe Industrial Zone.

• 2024

  • In 2024, we began construction of the Altek Solar Power Plant in Şanlıurfa.
