Packaging and Transportation
Altek products are securely packaged using high-quality materials to ensure maximum protection during transportation. Upon customer request, packaging suitable for sea transportation or other specific needs can be provided.
Coils of Strip
This is the simplest and therefore the most economical delivery format for strips.
Square, rectangular, or round pallets, adjusted according to the outer diameter of the coils, are used for horizontal or vertical packaging depending on the product’s width.

Traverse Wound Strips
Traverse wound strips are coils formed by welding strips together using a TIG welding process, then wound onto a spool.
The strips produced using this method are longer than individual small coils, offering the advantage of reducing operator changeover times. The weld points are marked with a colored indicator.
The spools used in the winding process can be provided with or without flanges, depending on customer requirements.
Advantages:
- Pressing processes can be carried out with reduced downtime.
- The risk of tool breakage during feeding is minimized.
- Higher productivity is achieved.
Dimensions and Weights:
Minimum strip thickness 0.15 mm; maximum: 1.50 mm
Minimum strip width 7 mm; maximum: 50 mm

Sheet Packaging
Standard sheet pallet dimensions are 70 x 210 cm, with a maximum height of 20 cm and a maximum weight of 1,000 kg.
For customer orders in different sizes, custom pallets are manufactured to fit the specific dimensions.
Coin Blank – Disc and Case Cup Packaging
Packaged in closed crates or drums measuring 70 x 100 x 70 cm, with a maximum weight of 1,000 kg.
