Sustainable Environment
The efficient use of natural resources and energy, along with the reduction of CO₂ emissions, is a vital part of our ecological and economic corporate responsibility, and has long been embedded in our corporate culture.
Given copper’s status as a green metal, Altek operates as a recycling facility, making meaningful contributions to the environment through continuous recycling efforts.
As Altek, our priorities are::
- To implement technologies that generate minimal waste, based on technical, economic, and commercial evaluations, in line with a sustainable development approach, and to protect our natural resources by ensuring the effective and efficient use of raw materials.
- To monitor, assess, and continuously improve the environmental impact of our processes in order to enhance our environmental performance.
- To reduce waste at its source, promote and encourage recycling, and ensure the proper collection and disposal of waste.
- To inform, raise awareness, and maintain open communication with all our social stakeholders—including employees, customers, suppliers, the local community, and government authorities—about Altek’s environmental perspective, practices, and achievements.
- The ISO 14001 Environmental Management System is successfully implemented at Altek.
