In line with its strategic objectives, Altek aims to bring into operation its Solar Power Plant (SPP) investment—initiated in November 2023—as swiftly as possible.

Once operational, the solar project will help us reach a key sustainability target: significant emission reduction.

Approximately 50,500 solar panels will be installed in the Siverek, a district of Şanlıurfa over the coming months, with a maximum electricity production capacity of 27.7 MWp. Once completed, the plant is expected to produce 45,000 MWh of electricity annually—meeting 90% of the annual energy needs of Altek's facilities in Istanbul and Tekirdağ.

With the full operation of the SPP on our 313,000 m² Altek site, we will not only contribute to protecting natural resources and the environment, but also strengthen our competitive advantage.

The Altek solar power plant is projected to reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 20,400 tons annually in the coming years.

Following the completion of the Şanlıurfa SPP project, we plan to expand our renewable energy capabilities by installing rooftop solar systems in addition to land-based systems.
